The property is dog-friendly with excellent walking access.
The shower was extremely frustrating, with very low water flow and it would frequently stop entirely. the mattress on the bed felt worn out, making it uncomfortable for a proper night's sleep. I was also disappointed that the pub menu didn’t offer healthier options, limiting our dining experience.

Exmoor Manor offers a comfortable stay with spacious and well-appointed rooms, including convenient features like a small fridge. The breakfast options are plentiful, with an excellent choice of fruits, cereals, and a delicious cooked meal. The adjacent pub provides a wonderful dining experience, featuring a varied menu with generous portions and exceptional quality, highlighted by dishes such as venison steak with truffle mash. The warm hospitality from Kevin and Janet makes the stay feel personal and welcoming.

Do recommend for a weekend stopover
Delightful accommodations, cozy atmosphere, featuring a warm ambiance in the pub with fantastic local beers and ciders. My room was spacious and well-furnished, providing excellent comfort and easy access to nearby walking trails, along with free parking for convenience.
Cannot find any fault.

A ground floor room with French doors opening to the front garden suited our needs perfectly. The pub adjacent provided a cozy atmosphere for dinner, although the Madras curry's spiciness was unexpectedly intense. Breakfast offered a simple self-serve toast selection, and the owners were welcoming. the smallness of the room made it feel cramped, and the bathroom lacked a window, contributing to a stuffy ambiance.

Couple's perfect getaway
We were welcomed with open arms, Kevin and Janet made us feel like family right away. Their attention to details, like my wife's special dietary needs, made meals enjoyable and personalized, it’s rare to find that level of care.
It wasn’t exactly cheap,, but for the quality and service, it was totally acceptable.
